As a landscaper, one of the most vital parts of your work is providing a design that is going to add aesthetic value to the property you are working on and contribute to the health of the environment it is in. More importantly your design has to be sustainable over a long period of time.
Grey water is water from showers, baths, hand basins and the laundry. With Nubian's market leading Nubian technology this grey water is efficiently recycled to a high level of quality, and can be reused for irrigation, car washing, clothes washing and toilet flushing.
Whether your project is commercial or residential, by reducing the water consumption by up to 40%, you can help to save the environment and increase the value of a property by effectively insuring that you can always have a green garden. Research indicates that the value of a house is increased by up to 8% by green planting alone. Imagine what it could do to the value of your project!
How does the Nubian product work?
The technology in Nubians GT600 is primarily biological and chemical free thus environment friendly, and it is housed in an innovative streamlined unit. The grey water is first passed through a pre-screen, which separates the solids from the water. It then passes through a biological treatment column which treats the water, and then finally it is passed through a powerful ultraviolet steriliser. The water is then kept in storage tank to be used later.
In terms of size and capacity, we have three systems that can be customised to meet your needs. Systems are available in a range of capacities, covering single dwellings through to large commercial projects
Due to the new-age design of the Nubian system it can be neatly mounted against external walls, in a cupboard, along a narrow pathway or even in a garage. For multiple-dwelling developments, larger systems can be designed to fit neatly into plant rooms and other processing areas.
Why do I need it?
Globally, there is a clear trend to sustainable design and building. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system was launched in 2000. In 2001 there were 93 registered LEED project and in 2007 there were 5500.
As a landscaper, you want to be seen as an innovative market leader and you need to be able to convince customers that you are providing a sustainable design, which will provide them with a great return. When you incorporate a Grey Water Treatment System into your design people begin to notice. Your properties will be greener than ever and worth more for it.
